This latest move of ULAA is directed at halting the further exacerbation of tension amongst competing groups, provide broader opportunities for Liberians to conglomerate, celebrate the richness of our diversity and commonalities through the holding of variety of programs reflecting the values, traditions and customs of our shared patrimony and to ensure that funds generated are used to impact the lives of poverty stricken masses in Liberia.

It is anticipated that unlike previous celebration, this year’s activity will include programs for all ages and socio-cultural interest. Additionally, this years activities will highlight the struggle of our people for permanent residency status in the United States.

In this regards President Wettee is meanwhile calling on all Liberians including county and tribal organizations, youth groups, churches, alumni associations and all political and interest groups to join in this unique national engagement.
