Honorable Maliam Jallabah,
Voinjama-Quardu-Gboni
Districts Member of the House of
Representatives, in Brooklyn
Park, Minnesota upon her arrival
there for the National
Convention of the Federation of
Lofa Associations in the
Americas (FLAA).
Also on hand, along with
President Sheriff, to welcome
the Lofa Legislator was QGMA
Minnesota Branch President Beyan
Kanneh and his fiancé, Argbah
Kamara. ULAA Presidential
Hopeful Anthony Kesselly, who
had arrived from Philadelphia,
was also on the greeting party.
Honorable was received at the
residence of Mr. Kanneh and Ms.
Kamara at Willow Brook in
Brooklyn Park.
Several members of the Lofa
Legislative Caucus are expected
to attend this year's FLAA
Convention which opens Friday
evening.
Representatives Eugene Kpaka of Foya and Varfley Kamara
of Kolahun-Vahun arrived along
with Honorable Jallabah. Lofa
County Senior Senator Sumo G.
Kupee and Salayea-Zorzor
Representative Moses Kollie are
expected to fly in on Friday.
It will be recalled that
Honorable Jallabah, at the time
serving as Member of the
National Transitional
Legislative Assembly (NTLA), attended
the 2005 FLAA Convention that
was held in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania.
Also, Senator
Sumo Kupee attended the 2006
FLAA Convention held in Newark,
New Jersey.
