A Young
Liberian woman, Sangbeh Garmai Nedra Kromah, was the proud
recipient of a Bachelor Degrees Communication Arts, Business
Administration, and Hospitality/ Tourism Management from the
New York Institute of Technology Sunday.
The
daughter of former President of the Union of Liberian
Associations in the Americas (ULAA), Sam Mohammed Kromah,
Sangbeh also received the highest honor, Summa Cum Laude.
“Our
daughter, Sangbeh Garmai Nedra Kromah graduated from NYIT,
Summa Cum Laude, with Bachelor degrees,” said her excited
father Sam Mohammed Kromah.
Mr.
Kromah said his daughter with nicknames as Sang, or ‘has
worked very hard to earn the distinguished honors she's
received today and we are very proud of her.
He
exclaimed, “Go Nene” and added that "It takes a village to
raise a child and you, the Liberian community, helped to
raise this child.” He thanked the community for being there
for his family.
Mr.
Kromah said a grand graduation party for his daughter would
be planned for late June in Baltimore, Maryland. “I hope
that you will come to celebrate with us.”
